Who can join PDGN?
Any legislator with an interest in diabetes and its comorbidities. Membership is free to elected members of regional and national legislatures and can continue after they have left office as alumni members. Our alumni members are a valuable resource of still influential experienced former law-makers.
How can diabetes advocates work with you?
Our expertise is in influencing and promoting policy within decision making bodies and so we have common cause with all diabetes advocates. We are always open to collaboration that favours prevention, early diagnosis or the best treatments for patients wherever they live.
What is the benefit of Joining PDGN ?
A quarterly newsletter, occasional regional or subject briefings, linkage to other decision makers, events online and in person to network where challenges can be raised and best practice shared, symposia at conferences, assistance with forming groups and growing their influence within legislative and other decision making bodies.
Who can receive the newsletter and services of PDGN ?
All members of PDGN, our non-profit associate members, and our commercial sponsors receive copies and can access the services of PDGN. Around 5,000 legislators and influencers receive our newsletter either direct or through national diabetes organisations.
